Skiing At Alpental
Alpental is divided into two areas: Upper Mountain and Lower Mountain. Upper Mountain can only be accessed off the Edelweiss Chair, while Lower Mountain can be accessed off the Armstrong Express, Sessel, or St. Bernard (the beginner lift).

Off Armstrong, there are two main blue choices: Debbie's Gold and Cascade Traverse. Debbie's Gold goes down to the base of Armstrong, while on Cascade Traverse has three black exits, Meister, Eisfallen, and Dom, before it reaches above the top of Sessel. The Sessel Chair reaches to the top of Sessel.

To get to Upper Mountain, take the Edelweiss chair off Armstrong. At the top, there are three choices: Kante, Edelweiss Bowl, and International. On Upper Internaional, follow the other skiers down a narrow entrance. Once on the 55-degree slope, the easiest way down is to ski towards the left. After skiing down a bit, look up and see how steep the top really is. Upper International leads into Lower International, leading into Sessel.
